Please read our terms and conditions of hire before booking an attraction below are our T&C’s if you have any questions or would like further information please contact us.

  • When making and confirming a booking a deposit non refundable deposit of 20% must be paid to Ride Hire within 7 days date of receiving the hire agreement contract unless agreed otherwise, this is to confirm the booking. Once the deposit has been paid you have entered an agreement with Ride Hire and it will be deemed that you fully agree with our terms & conditions. The remaining balance must be paid fully 14 days prior to the hire date, unless otherwise agreed or ride hire will not perform the event but contractual obligations will still apply and any amount outstanding will be pursued through the County Court.
  • Short notice bookings (4 weeks or less) will be required to pay the full amount of the hire to confirm the booking.
  • Taking payments on the day of hire, if it has been agreed under special circumstances that payment can be taken on the day, payment will be required to be paid upon arrival before Rid Hire set up any equipment, if payment is not given then ride for hire will not set up and contractual obligations to pay will still apply.
  • Your booking will be set for a specific date and period of time, noted in contract, if in the event that the hire period runs over due to no fault of Ride Hire, any additional time will be invoiced after the event. By paying a deposit it is confirming that you have read and agreed to these terms and conditions you are agreeing that any additional time will be paid for. However we reserve the right to finish the event at the contracted time, even if the event is not completed.
  • Any cancellations or alterations to the original booking and pertaining to this contract are to be communicated in writing by the hirer and any alterations must also be agreed by Ride Hire in writing. A cancellation fee of 50% of the total charge will be applied hirer makes a cancellation within 60-31 days prior to the date of hire. Any Cancellations made 30 days or less will require full payment (100% of the total cost of hire).
  • Ride hire reserve the right to alter / amend / substitute any item / package for any genuine reason, to the same value or greater if it is due to Health and Safety reasons or circumstances beyond our control. The Hirer will be notified of the change as soon as we are able to do so. No refunds or compensation will be offered, as Ride Hire will substitute items. If no substitute is provided, the value of hire of that piece of equipment will be refunded. In the highly unlikely event that Ride Hire cancel the event, any monies paid will be returned but no compensation will be paid.
  • Ride supplies a variety of attractions and we cannot duplicate each attraction/item/equipment exactly, we will however try to provide attraction/item/equipment close as possible to them, however we Ride Hire have the right to supply an attraction/item/equipment that is subject to change in appearance i.e. colour, artwork, design. Ride hire cannot fully guarantee the exact attraction/item/equipment on or website. Attractions/items/equipment and services are subject to change and by paying the deposit you have agreed to our terms and conditions In the unlikely event we are unable to get the required attraction to your event on the date booked we will replace with a similar item for the same hire value.
  • Ride hire reserve the right to refuse any persons to use the equipment due to health and safety risks, this includes intoxicated individuals, any group/individual causing anti-social behaviour, any person that could pose danger to themselves and other around them. Pregnant women should not use equipment/attractions. Loose clothing, glasses, valuable belongings, and in certain cases shoes should not be worn when using equipment/attractions. Protecting the safety of our staff, the public and riders are our priority.
  • If the venue or location is determined and provided by the hirer, it is their/your responsibility to ensure proper safety precautions, risk assessments and access have been considered.
  • You/they must ensure proper and safe drive access to where equipment/attraction will be located onsite. We require onsite parking for small and large vehicles and enough space to set up the equipment/attraction safely. Safety signage and barriers should be apparent set up by the hirer if the public can access the location for set up. If there is no onsite parking please advise Ride hire prior to the hire date.
  • If Ride cannot gain proper and safe access to the site etc. we reserve the right to withdraw our services. No refunds will be given / payment in full will be required. (We can contact the venue on your behalf if you are in doubt before you sign the contract.)
  • We will be using the details you/the venue will be providing on your access form (to follow) to enable us to safely set up your event and ensure the health and safety of our employees. We will not put employees at risk. If any of these details are incorrect and pose a Health and Safety issue, we reserve the right to withdraw our services with no refunds being given/ payment in full being required. If you, the hirer, provide the venue, you must ensure there is vehicular access that is wide enough for our vehicles
  • Please advise Ride hire of your power arrangement giving enough notice prior to your hire data if you do not have a suitable power source- we can supply generators at an additional cost, if power is not booked then we will assume there is ample power on site the equipment/attraction hired unless agreed otherwise in writing prior the hire date. Please ask Ride Hire for any advice on power supply.
  • Power leads supplied by Ride Hire are approximately 20 feet therefore power supply needs to be within this distance from the apparatus. If it is discovered the power is not suitable the event will not proceed and no refunds will be given/contractual obligations to pay will still apply.
  • Any theft or malicious deliberate damage of any sort to the equipment hired, will be invoiced to the Hirer at the cost to repair the item or if it cannot be repaired, at full replacement cost. If the equipment supplied by Ride Hire is to be left on site, the responsibility of the goods passes onto the hirer and the hirer is expected to take all reasonable precautions to prevent theft or damage. Any theft or damage of any sort to the equipment hired will be invoiced to the hirer at full replacement/repair cost.
  • Weather conditions play a vital role in the set up and operation of equipment and attractions supplied by Ride Hire. If the weather is deemed to severe and poses and health and safety risk whatsoever to whomsoever, at any point prior or during the event, we reserve the right to not set up or close down the equipment/attractions until it is deemed safe to resume. Closures will be solely the discretion of Ride Hire, there will be no reductions to the hire cost, if the hirer decides not to proceed due to weather conditions full payment must still be made/ no refunds will be given.
  • All employees of Ride hire are to be courtesy, smartly dressed and polite. Ride Hire will not tolerate any form of abuse towards employees, in any case of this with reserve the right to withdraw our services and no refunds will be given/contractual obligations to pay will apply. Our employees will be there solely to operate or over see equipment/attractions they will not be provided to marshal excessive unruly behaviours if this occurs we will remain the right to cease operation, no refund will be given/contractual obligations to pay will still apply.
  • All our employees are entitled to at least 30 minutes break, this does not include sanitary breaks, and this might mean the equipment/attraction could be closed for a short period of time.
  • We will staff equipment according to the event on our own discretion, if you require continuous staff please speak with Ride Hire.
  • Refreshments will be supplied for free or at a discounted price to Ride Hire employees on the date of hire.
  • Ride Hire cannot and will not be held responsible for any delays in setting up / removal of equipment caused by the venue / third party that are outside of our control. It is the duty of the Hirer to inform the venue (if the Hirer has supplied the venue) of setting up and de-rig times and the nature and content of the equipment to be installed. If they’re any timing restrictions you must advise Ride Hire prior to confirming your booking. We require ample time to set up and de-rig the event. Ride Hire cannot be held responsible for delays caused by un-cooperative venue personnel. Ride Hire will set off to the venue location allowing ample time to set up. If there is a traffic delay due to an accident etc. we will notify the Hirer as soon as it is possible to do so. If delay occurs due to ride negligence, reimbursements may be made but will vary depending on delay and will never be more than the total hire cost.
  • The venue/hirer will assume responsibility for the Health and Safety of our staff whilst they are upon their premises in accordance with the Law of the Land at that time.
  • Ride hire and their contractors will have employer & public liability insurance cover for the event but all contestants/users take part entirely at their own risk. Risk assessments and insurance documents are available on request. There is no insurance cover for unsupervised or dry hire items.
  • Ride Hire accepts no liability for any damage, loss, illness or injury resulting from this event howsoever it may have been caused, save for death or personal injury caused by its own negligence. Ride Hire accepts no liability for any illness or injury resulting from over exertion, aggravation or precipitation of any medical condition caused by participating in this event. People suffering with neck, back and joint issues are advised not to take part. Hirers must convey that all persons participate in this event on the express understanding that it is at their own risk and participants are strongly advised to seek medical advice before participating. Hirers are responsible for advising that all participants should report any accidents, incidents or instances of feeling unwell to the appointed first aiders/ Ride Hire staff at the time and to notify Ride Hire on the day of the event. The hirer will be responsible for the overall site. Operators have the right to refuse the use of apparatus to any person they feel may be a hazard to them, other persons or equipment.
  • It is a legal requirement that some inflatable equipment is to be deflated and rested if the generator that is powering it requires refuelling. The Hirer confirms their acceptance of this upon signing.
  • The hirer must ensure there is adequate first aid for the event.
  • The hirer, being the school or parents shall assume responsibility for children at all times and ensure they behave in an appropriate manner at all times. If the children are deemed to be unruly and pose any Health and Safety risks, if the hirer or parent cannot control their behaviour, we reserve the right to cease operating the event.
  • It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure all rubbish created as a result of the event, is disposed of, if the hirer sourced the venue. Please note will not be responsible for rubbish disposal.
  • Ride Hire is not responsible for non-fulfilment or breach of any contracts by proprietors, managers, employers or artists, but every reasonable safeguard is assured. Wherever possible in such cases, Hire Rides will replace the venue, act or equipment with that of similar price and quality.
  • Where operators and artistes are prevented, or will be prevented from operating equipment or performing their act during the event due to e.g. inclement weather, health and safety reasons, power cuts or any other circumstances beyond their control/ force majeure the full fee shall still be payable.
